Ever thought selling ya bike on ebay might be a good thought ? yeah so did i till i actually went ahead with it ......took the pictures , wrote the description , put a price on and bingo the advert went live . Sit back and wait for it sell was what me head was telling me , simple , soon be sold and have some cash to splash on the next bike . A few days in the bikes getting loads of views and the numbers for watching the bike are rising , man i am almost seeing the new ride in the shed .......Now the fun begins and face plants start getting frequent , to sum the whole episode up very quickly heres my advice ..... sell the bike to a mate , sell it to a mates mate , trade it in ! Only use ebay if you are prepared for people to message with the most bizarre questions and to make you silly offers that make you really question your decision to place the advert in the first place . We all know when selling vehicles there is gonna be a slight haggle going on , i was just not prepared to have offers of 30 odd % less than what the advert stated . So did i sell the bike on there ,,,,,nah , because i finished the advert early due to it being a absolute nightmare and dealing with jokers ! I can safely say never again and will stick to using ebay for buying random cheap crap i am in no rush to get delivered .
If you are thinking of seeling ya ride on ebay be prepared , very prepared for the jokers !
On a totally different note but still to do with selling or buying bikes i am not sure if you are aware as i wasn't till the middle of this week that you can now do all the transferring of the log book online at the following address www. gov.uk/sold-bought-vehicle gov.uk . So basically when buying or selling you can get the log book all sorted there n then !
