Gasket ring for the swingarm, part number AP8144006, item 12 in this diagram which is for the Gen 1 RSV but does differ on other models.

This is an integral item that prevents the ingress of dirt, road grime and maybe small ferrets into your swingarm bearings and also keeps the grease in. Due to its location it can become hard and brittle over time and start to crack so it's definitely worth checking what condition it's in.
