please note that 2 items are required to replace the original assembly 

These are the ball bearing type that allow the smooth movement of your swingarm at its pivot point, which is the frame.

By inspecting them as much as possible for any signs of water or foreign object ingress or ultimately replacing them, you will be reducing the likelihood of swingarm stiffness.
