We have now successfully sourced OE safety crimps from the original supplier to Aprilia. This allows you to install your uprated cable kit without any more need to solder into the 30amp supply cables.

Designed to replace existing OE starting circuit cables and allows for the full current flow from 220CCA batteries when used with the genuine 150A Solenoid (OE Cables can only manage 170 when new).
Made from a full copper construction with auxiliary connection at the battery bus bar for independent optima or alarm connection, will remove any doubts for potential corrosion, heat or mechanical damage.
They are built, fully tested and then a healthy coating of ACF50 applied to all connections to keep corrosion free. This results in much faster cranking speeds and spark during starting, meaning your bike will fire up so much better, as well as protection of the sprag clutch.
Exceptionally good quality set of cables, and a clear improvement over the originals. Much thicker gauge wire and sturdy rubber boots, you definitely get what you pay for. Also very nice battery terminals which have an additional bolt on the top to connect up things like your charger lead etc without having to fiddle with the actual battery connection. Fitting instructions are very good - although there's a bit near the end which talks about soldering which you can ignore as the new cables have to correct connector to go straight into the back of the fuse block, which makes installation even better. To feed the new cable from the starter solenoid to the starter motor, I zip tied the old and new cable eyelets together, and used the old cable to pull the new one through to the starter motor without too much hassle. An excellent upgrade.
This is a "must have". It's reasonably priced, beautifully made, and fits perfect. Most importantly it cures, among other things, the dreaded Hot-Start problem. Your RSV will love you for installing it. These guys clearly know what they're doing. Thanks AP
This is my second review after fitment of the cables and the starter solenoid, it’s made a real Difference to the turnover speed by the starter motor well worth the money, fitment was relatively easy make sure you read the instructions That come with the cables because They are well written and easy to understand.
Ordered the cables Friday afternoon turned up first thing Saturday morning full marks. Being an ex-motor mechanic I was interested to see what I paid for considering they were just cables when On opening the packaging I found the best set of quality made cables I’ve ever seen which more than justified the cost I’m looking forward to fit them and see the difference And will add another review once fitted.
